Kerala Tour Package Itinerary

For ready reference itinerary to a customer we prepared 6 nights 7 days Kerala Holidays. However there is full room to change the Kerala Tour itinerary based on timing and budget. Kerala Tour from Delhi or Mumbai available round the year. To start Kerala tour a traveler need to book fight or train ticket to Cochin. Once a traveler arrives Cochin we arrange all the tour related services that we agreed for. Please read itinerary for Kerala Tour Package.

Day 1: Arrive Cochin (Please advise us your arrival details)

Indian Travel Waves representative will welcome you at arriving lounge in Cochin. On arrival, our representative will meet you & greet you. Then he will take you for Check in at your pre-booked hotel. Meantime our representative will brief about Kerala Holiday Package. After freshen up you will visit Cochin with a guide or without guide based your interest. Cochin city has a lots of things to see from old colonies to new developments. You can book monument tickets online for Cochin and other Places of your Kerala Tour package.

Places to Visit in Cochin:
There are many places but you can visit few of them like Fort Cochin there you can see ancient Jew tradition. Then after you will go to see St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing net. Later afternoon visit to the Santa Cruz Basilica, Mattancherry Palace and French bungalows. 

         Cochin city is not only famous for French Bungalows but also famous for Kathakkali Dance Show. Your                   Kerala Tour is incomplete if you missed Kathakali Dance show in the trip.  Beside this Cooking demo                                class and  followed by dinner at Indian family home is a great idea.

Day 2: Cochin – Munnar ( Hill Station of Kerala Holiday packages) 

In the morning after breakfast, we will drive to Munnar. Munnar is widely famous for hill stations, tea gardens and beautiful wildlife sanctuaries. Take a break on the way by visiting Kodanadu elephant training Camp that is a great experience specially if you are travelling with kids. On reaching Munnar you will check-in at pre booked hotel. After freshen up you will proceed for sightseeing of Munnar. There are many tea gardens and dams and water falls to see in the Munnar. Munnar is one of the best hill station of South India and we included in the itinerary of Kerala tour package.

Places to visit in Munnar: 
Here you can see Anaimudi a 2695 M highest peak of South India. Later you will visit Tata Tea Museum, Evarikulam National Park, how to produce Tea Plantation. If time permits then go for  Mattupedi Dem,  Top Stations and Echo Point.  These are the main places of Munnar where a tourist like to see the places.

Day 3: Munnar – Periyar ( Wildlife destination of Kerala Tour Packages) 

At day three f the tour After breakfast, we will drive to Periyar. Periyar sanctuary is located in Thekkady district of Cochin state. On arrival Periyar check-in at pre booked hotel for you. After freshen up proceed to the sightseeing of Periyar Tiger reserve. There are lots of things to see in Periyar or Thekkady. Thekkady is world famous for Green forests, Spice plantation and wildlife. We included Periyar as a wildlife place in Kerala Holiday Package to increase interest of travelers.

Places to visit in the Periyar: 
A visit to Spice Garden then move to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. You will visit Cardamom County, Periyar Lake for boating and bamboo rafting. You have a chance to see some rare varieties of birds and animals at Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary.

Due to short time in Periyar we can not suggest a full day guided Plantation Tour that requires minimum 6-8 hrs time. People like to do night safari in Wild sanctuary. Stay overnight at Periyar Hotel.

Day 4: Periyar – Kovalam ( Beach destination of Kerala Tour package) 

After breakfast, you will drive to Kovalam the beach town of Kerala Tourism. Kovalam is second most preferred beach town of India after Goa. This beautiful beach town very demanding place among international tourists. In the Kovalam a tourist get ideal place to feel the hot sun and to feel pleased about the golden suntan skin.  On arrival transfer to your hotel for check in. You can pamper your body with Karelian Ayurveda Message center in Kovalam. You have many beach activity options like Swimming, Skiing and Surfing. 

About Kovalam: Kovalam means a grove of coconut trees and true to its name. The village offers an endless sight of coconut trees. Kovalam beaches well known as the paradise of the South India.

Day 5: Kovalam Sightseeing 

After breakfast, you will proceed to the sightseeing of Kovalam. The beach town Kovalam has three beaches separated by rocky outcroppings in its 17 km coastline. These three beaches together form the famous crescent of the Kovalam beaches.

• Lighthouse Beach – The southernmost beach, Lighthouse Beach is one of the most frequently visited by tourists. Lighthouse Beach got its name due to the old Vizhinjam Lighthouse located on a rocky promontory here. Its intermittent beams at night render the beach with an unearthly charm.
• Hawah Beach – Eve’s Beach, more commonly known as Hawa Beach ranks second in the early day. It is a beehive of activities with fishermen setting out for sea. With a high rock promontory and a calm bay of blue water. This beach paradise creates an unique aquarelle on moonlight nights.
• Samudra Beach – A large promontory separates this part from the southern side. Samudra Beach doesn’t have tourists thronging there or hectic business. The local fishermen ply their trade on this part.

While you are staying at Kovalam easily go to Trivandrum. You can visit Padmanabhaswami Temple that is famous for it’s art and painting.

Day 6: Kovalam – Alleppy ( Backwater place of Kerala Holiday Package) 

In the morning after breakfast drive to Alleppey  a backwater place. Alleppey offers backwaters experience to the Kerala Holiday Packages. On arrival atcAlleppey check-in at traditionally decorated houseboat. While you cruising a luxury houseboat learn to prepare some local dishes. Enjoy the backwater cruise and see you paddy field of Kerala. After check-in, you will be welcomed with fresh coconut water. Your Cruise will start after a short briefing introduction about the trip. Today you will relax and enjoy the canals, rivers, and backwater. The houseboat is fully furnished double bedrooms, sundeck, private balcony, and a kitchen. It also comprises a chef, Oarsmen & cabin assistant. All meals will be served and stay overnight at houseboat.

Day 7: Alleppy – Cochin Drop

In the morning after breakfast, you will drive to Cochin. We will provide transfer you to the airport for your flight to onward journey. You will be feeling contended a great Holiday you enjoyed during Kerala Tour Packages;
