Suggested Itinerary for Karnataka Tour Package
Day 1: Arrive Bangalore (Please advise us your arrival details)
Indian Travel Waves representative will welcome you at arriving lounge in Bangalore. Our representative will be holding your name page board. He will provide assistance to check-in at the hotel. After freshening up we will proceed to the sightseeing of Bangalore. Bangaluru or Bangalore is one of the biggest city of Karnataka state. There a lots of heritage sites, forts and man made Zoological parks.
Places to visit in Bangalore:
Tipu Sultan’s Palace – A fine specimen of military architecture. Then visit Cubbon Park, Lalbagh and Botanical Garden. Evening you can keep free or do your own activities. the hotel.
Day 2: Bangalore – Mysore
Second day of Karnataka Tour Packages you will have breakfast at hotel. Then get ready to move a beautiful Place Mysore. On arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel. After freshen up we will proceed to explore the local market of Mysore. After that, we will return to the hotel. Mysore was capital of Kingdom of Wodear dynasty rulers 1399 to 1947. Mysore is famous for sandalwood, silk works and spice markets. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Mysore Sightseeing
In the Morning after breakfast, we will go for the sightseeing of Mysore.
Places to visit in Mysore:
Maharaja Palace, Chamundi Hills, Brindavan Garden, Ancient Temple. This is not a fix itinerary, if time permits you can visit some other places too. Stay overnight at hotel in Mysore.
Day 4: Mysore – Chikmagaluru
Today after breakfast we will drive to Chikmagalur that is a hill station of Karnataka. On arrival at Chikmagluru you will check-in at hotel. After freshen up proceed we will visit natural places. The town with its bracing climate and scenic splendour is worth to visiting Places. Interest places of Chikmangluru are the Fort, Ishwara temple, St.Joseph’s Cathedral and Kondandarama Temple. Mullayangiri Paek is very famous place of Chickmagluru hill station. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 5: Chikmagaluru – Belur – Chikmagaluru
After the morning breakfast, we will go on a Day excursion to Belur and Halebid. Belur is “Benras of South India”. Here in Belur we can visit Chennakesava Temple that is an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then take a visit to Narasimha Pillar and Yagachi Dam. After that, we will return to the hotel. Day 6: Chikmagalur – Hospet
In the morning after breakfast we will drive to Hospet. The city Hospet is famous for Caves and many temples. On arrival transfer to the hotel, after freshen up proceed to the sightseeing of Hospet.
Places to visit in Hospet:
Hidimbeshwara temple, Ancient Temple, Local Market. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7: Hospet – Hampi
After breakfast, we will drive to Hampi. On arrival, you will check-in at a pre booked hotel. After freshen up we will visit the local market of Hampi. The most visited places in Hampi are: Sree Virupaksha Temple. People also visit-Shree Vijaya Vitthala Gudi and Hemakuta Temple in Hampi.
Overnight stay at Hampi hotel.
Day 8: Hampi Sightseeing
In the morning after breakfast get ready for Hampi city tour. Today we will go for sightseeing of Hampi.
Places to visit in Hampi. : –
Kings Balance, gold or money, Queen Bath, Lotus Mahal Vittala Temple. Then Virupaksha Temple, Ugra Narasimha also covered . Overnight stay at Hampi hotel.
Day 9: Hampi – Badami
After breakfast, we will drive to Badami. It has exquisite cave temples belonging to the golden period of Chalukyan rule. There are 4 cave temples – all hewn out of sandstone on the precipice of a hill. The first cave temple has an exquisite carving of Nataraja embodying 81 poses. The third cave is dedicated to Vishnu and is the largest and most ornamental. The fresco paintings in the cave resemble those of Ajanta. Overlooking the cave temples is a large tank around which are temples dedicated to Vishnu and Shiva.
Day 10: Badami Sightseeing
In the morning have your breakfast and then we will proceed to the sightseeing of Badami.
Places to visit in Badami
Aihole and Pattadakal. Aihole – is famous as the Cradle of Indian Temple Architecture has over 125 temples all intricately carved and rich in detail famous ones are Lad Khan Temple, Drug (fort) Temple, Ravalphadi Cave Temple, Konti Temple Complex, Jain Meguthi Temple are few not to be Missed. Pattadaka l-a World Heritage center has 10 major temples representing early Chalukyan architecture. Temples to visit are Virupaksha, Mallikarjuna, and Panatha. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 11: Badami – Goa
This will be the last day of our Karnataka Tour Package. After the morning breakfast, you will drive to Goa, on arrival check-in at the hotel. Goa is popularly famous for it’s beaches. You can relax at beach for sometimes then go to the Panaji market. After freshen up day free for your own activity. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 12: Goa Drop
After you have done your breakfast, we transfer you to the airport for your onward journey. In this way you will complete your South India Karnataka Tour.
